US asks Canada to end 'underhanded' dairy pricing class
Washington says Class 7 enables Canadian farmers to overproduce milk, thus depressing world prices

THE United States has asked Canada to eliminate a new "underhanded" dairy-pricing class that has undercut sales by US dairies to Canadian processors, US Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue said on Monday.
Mr Perdue was speaking to reporters after he met Canadian Agriculture Minister Lawrence MacAulay in Toronto.
