V3 Group appoints George Yeo as senior adviser
V3 GROUP has appointed George Yeo as senior adviser, said the group of companies led by Ron Sim and engaged in the businesses of lifestyle and well-being, financial technology and investments.
Mr Yeo, a former minister, is an independent director of Hong Kong-listed insurer AIA and Nasdaq-listed e-commerce platform Pinduoduo Inc. "With his insights on China, Asean and Asia, global e-commerce trends, and digitally-driven trade connectivity, Mr Yeo is well-placed to advise V3 on harnessing these critical growth catalysts to create more sustainable value for stakeholders, " said V3 in a statement on Sunday.
V3 was founded by Mr Sim, and is part of a consortium that has applied for a digital bank licence in Singapore.
