Contributions from Singapore Flyer give Straco a boost in Q4FY15
TOURIST attraction operator Straco Corp reported a near 42 per cent leap in net profit to S$6.26 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2015, in line with higher revenue.
Revenue was up by nearly 23 per cent to S$23.83 million thanks to contributions from the Singapore Flyer, which was acquired in November 2014.
Earnings per share came to 0.73 Singapore cent, up from 0.52 cent a year ago.
For the full year, net profit increased 30 per cent to S$49 million, against a 38 per cent rise in revenue to S$127.67 million.
The board has recommended a final dividend of 2 cents per share and a special dividend of half a cent per share.
