Cordlife names Wong Chiang Yin as new CEO

CORD blood bank Cordlife Group said it has appointed medical doctor and public health specialist Wong Chiang Yin, 48, as its new CEO.
Dr Wong was most recently the executive director of Bursa Malaysia-listed TMC Life Sciences, a general hospital owner and operator that also owns a chain of fertility treatment centres in Malaysia. He was also concurrently the president of Thomson International, the international arm of obstetric and gynaecology specialist Thomson Medical Centre.
