CORDLIFE Group shareholders who had requisitioned an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to appoint directors to the board have decided that the meeting is no longer needed.
Two newly appointed directors, Christopher Ho and Gary Xie, said in a press statement late on Friday night that Providence Investments, Wells Spring and Coop International "will be taking steps to withdraw their notice of EGM".
This was after both men were appointed as non-independent non-executive directors of Cordlife with effect from April 29.
"Christopher and Gary are pleased to be appointed to the board, and look forward to contributing to the growth of the company," the two men said.
