MYANMAR-FOCUSED investment holding company Yoma Strategic will earmark US$21.9 million, or about one-fifth of the proceeds from the first tranche of its placement shares, for investments in its real estate business. Another US$27.6 million will go towards the refinancing of its existing indebtedness, the mainboard-listed company said.
As at Dec 11, out of the US$108.6 million in gross proceeds raised from the first tranche of its placement, about US$59.1 million remains unutilised.
