Asian Healthcare Specialists
CATALIST-LISTED Asian Healthcare Specialists on Thursday posted a fall in net profit for its fiscal half-year as a rise in staff costs outpaced revenue growth. For the six months ended March 31, net profit declined 4.2 per cent to S$1.38 million, from S$1.43 million last year. This translated to earnings per share of 0.44 Singapore cents for the half-year period, down from 0.49 cents previously.
The medical services group has declared an interim cash dividend of 0.4 Singapore cent, up from a dividend of 0.2 Singapore cent in the year-ago period. Revenue for the half year grew 5.2 per cent to S$5.94 million.
