United Overseas Bank
UOB on Monday named Steven Phan Swee Kim, formerly area managing partner for Asia-Pacific at Ernst & Young, to its board.
Mr Phan, 61, will be appointed as a non-independent and non-executive director of UOB starting on July 1, replacing outgoing director Willie Cheng Jue Hiang. As the bank's board director, Mr Phan will also join its remuneration and human capital committee alongside UOB's chairman, former deputy prime minister Wong Kan Seng.
