The group posted a net profit of S$10.5 million for the second quarter ended Sep 30, up S$40.2 million from the loss in the year-ago period, it announced in a results release on Friday (Nov 5) after market close.
Basic earnings per share was 0.94 Singapore cent for the quarter, and 2.23 cents for the half-year. But the group said it would not declare an interim dividend, as the half-year performance "would have been loss-making had it not been for the government wage support".
