Cosco lands contract for 7 container vessels

COSCO (Zhoushan) Shipyard, a subsidiary of Cosco Corporation (Singapore)'s 51 per cent owned subsidiary Cosco Shipyard Group, has won a contract from Maersk Line to build seven 3,600 twenty-foot equivalent (TEU) container vessels.
"The container vessels are scheduled for delivery between April 2017 and November 2017," the ship-repair & marine engineering and shipping group said in a release to the Singapore Exchange on Friday.
