Court dismisses appeal by Sabana Reit’s tenant over outstanding rent
THE Singapore High Court has dismissed an appeal by Sabana Industrial Reit’s former tenant Kleio One-Solution over outstanding rent and other payments due under the lease.
The manager of Sabana Reit said on Tuesday (May 21) that the court has upheld the orders it made on Apr 5. The court also ordered Kleio to pay costs arising from the appeal to Sabana Reit.
Sabana Reit filed an originating claim against Kleio One-Solution last November, seeking a court order for possession of the Reit’s 33 & 35 Penjuru Lane premises, and payment of the arrears in rent and other payments owed to the Reit.
It took possession of the premises on Mar 8, and obtained summary judgment on Apr 5 against Kleio on the Reit’s claim for outstanding rent and other payments due under the lease.
Sabana Reit’s shares closed unchanged at S$0.355 on Tuesday.
