Crystal Jade signs franchisees at Beijing airport and in Vietnam

CRYSTAL Jade Culinary Concepts Holdings is adding two franchisees, one at Beijing airport and another in Vietnam, the restaurant group announced on Tuesday.

HMSHost (Beijing airport) signed on as a franchisee on Jan 26 and will open two Crystal Jade Kitchen restaurants in Terminals 2 and 3 between April and July 2016.

A franchisee agreement is also slated to be signed on Feb 22 with Golden Gate Group in Vietnam. The franchisee plans to open three Crystal Jade Kitchen restaurants by the end of 2016. Crystal Jade already has three outlets in the country - a Crystal Jade Kitchen restaurant in Da Nang and Crystal Jade Palace restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

Crystal Jade is also planning a number of new outlets around the region in 2016. The Shanghai Disney Resort will see the Crystal Jade Garden of Dreams restaurant that features a fine-dining portion as well as a Crystal Jade La Mia Xiao Long Bao. A Crystal Jade Shanghai Delights outlet is expected to open in Seoul, South Korea, while Crystal Jade Kitchen restaurants will open in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh in Cambodia.

Beyond regional expansion, Crystal Jade in January opened the first Crystal Jade Prestige fine-dining restaurant at the Marina Bay Financial Centre in Singapore.
