CSC narrows losses on back of more business activity

A HIGHER level of business activity gave a lift to results for engineering services firm CSC Holdings in the third quarter of its FY2018.
Net loss narrowed to S$2.1 million, from a net loss of S$5.6 million in the previous year, the group said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Wednesday.
For the three months ended Dec 31, revenue rocketed 69.7 per cent to S$94.9 million from the previous year.
Loss per share narrowed to 0.12 Singapore cent, from a loss per share of 0.3 Singapore cent in the previous year. Net asset value per share slipped to 7.5 Singapore cents as at Dec 31, from 7.8 Singapore cents on March 31, 2017.
The company declared no dividend, similar to the same period a year ago.
Its shares finished unchanged at S$0.026 on Wednesday, before the announcement was made.
