CSE Global on acquisition trail
It is looking for overseas and local targets with a strong engineering base, says CEO Lim Boon Kheng.
MAINBOARD-LISTED systems integrator CSE Global is looking for acquisition opportunities in North America's shale basins, Singapore's Smart Nation drive, and the telecommunications industry Down Under, chief executive officer Lim Boon Kheng told The Business Times.
"There are enough 'mushrooms' that we planted to give us organic growth in Singapore, in Australia, in the United States," he said. New orders edged up 0.6 per cent to S$384.2 million in 2018, with the order backlog at S$181 million at year-end, up 3.5 per cent from a year ago.
"But I think we're also a bit kancheong, a bit kiasu. We want to be faster," he said, using Chinese dialect terms which mean being on the ball.
