CSE Global shares surge 7.5% on moves by activist shareholder
Singapore
SHARES of mainboard-listed CSE Global, the process control and communications network system integrator, jumped 7.25 per cent or 2.5 Singapore cents to S$0.37 on Monday after activist investor Quarz Capital Management thrust it into the spotlight with calls for "cash discipline" and higher dividends, among other things.
Quarz said that it wants to engage with the CSE board to unlock shareholder value, and may propose measures in annual general meetings or extraordinary general meetings to "expedite" this process.
