Daikin Singapore buys building management systems firm BMS for S$12.9m
Singapore
DAIKIN Singapore has bought over local building management systems firm BMS Engineering and Trading for S$12.9 million, and does not rule out more acquisitions as it anticipates growing demand from building owners to optimise energy use.
The deal, paid for in cash, was completed on Nov 7 and officially announced on Tuesday. BMS is now a subsidiary of Daikin Singapore, which is in turn a unit of Japanese air conditioning giant Daikin Industries.
