DBS Group Holdings and OCBC Bank earned top regional and country honours at the 2015 IFR Asia Awards for their work as lenders and bond sellers.
DBS became the first Singapore bank to be named Asian Bank of the Year, and it also took home the title of Singapore Loan House for 2015. As an issuer, the bank also took the title of Covered Bond of the Year and Singapore Capital Markets Deal of the Year for its inaugural issue of covered bonds, which are debt securities backed by cash flow.
