DBS in 'go green' partnership with DHL
Singapore
DBS Bank has announced a three-year "go green" partnership with international express services provider DHL Express. It allows DBS international express shipments to be delivered via DHL GoGreen Climate Neutral Service from 2017 to 2019.
The GoGreen service is an eco-friendly solution which allows DBS to send carbon-neutral shipments and provides the bank visibility for its carbon footprint. "This landmark collaboration sees DBS as the first Asian bank to fully utilise the logistics company's GoGreen offering," said a joint statement. The DHL patented methodology calculates and estimates the carbon dioxide emissions of every DBS shipment based on weight and distance travelled.
