DBS joins top ranks of Asia trade finance: poll
Regional banks zoom in on offering such financing to China after 2008 global meltdown
DBS Bank has muscled into the top ranks of global banks offering trade finance in Asia.
Along with US bank JP Morgan, it has been rated among best-of-breed trade finance banks by Asia's top 1,000 corporates, says new research from analysts East & Partners Asia and trade-finance professional development and search firm Franklin Phillips.
In terms of market share, HSBC, Citigroup and DBS are the top three banks offering such trade loans in Asia, said the research.
