Debao gets Acra approval for extension of AGM deadline to Nov 30
DEBAO Property Development said on Thursday night that the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (Acra) has granted it an extension of the deadline by which it must hold its annual general meeting (AGM) for the 2017 financial year.
Originally due by April 30, the shareholder meeting must now be held by Nov 30.
On Oct 10, Debao announced the Singapore Exchange's approval for the latest extension. It had applied for the extension as its auditors needed another four to six weeks to look over an independent reviewer's report before they could issue audited financial statements.
Debao said on Thursday that in line with Acra's approval, it will convene its AGM and present its consolidated financial statements for FY2017 no later than Nov 30, with its annual report to be despatched to shareholders in due course.
