SHARES in Del Monte Pacific soared 36 per cent on Wednesday after the group reported a surge in second-quarter profit, thanks mainly to a one-time adjustment to its expenses.
The counter ended the day at 39.5 Singapore cents, up 10.5 cents from the previous close, amid heavy trading.
