Delayed PayNow transactions should be processed by Wednesday: DBS
DBS customers with delayed Fast and PayNow transactions should expect them to be completed by today, the bank said on Wednesday (Sep 27).
In a Facebook post, the company said that the status of these transactions, when completed, will be reflected in customers’ transaction histories. It added that it will provide a further update later on Wednesday.
The bank also said that as at 7.30 pm on Tuesday, its Fast – or Fast And Secure Transfers – and PayNow services were returned to normal, and transactions made since then have been successful.
However, as late as 11 pm on Wednesday, checks by The Business Times found that a transaction that was delayed since 3.43 pm on Tuesday has not been processed yet.
DBS customers took to the Facebook post to air the issues they faced, such as duplicate successful payments, as they had made multiple transactions while their initial transactions were still being processed.
In other cases, customers said that their accounts had been debited, but that the other party had not received the funds.

Some customers who called the bank’s customer service line noted that agents were also unable to see the status of their pending transactions.
This is the fourth incident that the bank has faced in less than two years.
DBS shares fell 0.6 per cent, or S$0.20, to S$33.31 as at 4.03 pm on Wednesday.
