Digital Core Reit to lose sole tenant at North Virginia property
The building’s current lease expires on Jun 30, 2025
DIGITAL Core Reit announced on Thursday (Jan 2) that the option to renew the lease for 8217 Linton Hall in Northern Virginia by the occupying customer expired and was not exercised on Dec 31, 2024.
The building is a one-storey data centre facility east of Linton Hall, in a transition area between heavy industrial uses to the east and residential development to the west.
It is wholly occupied by the customer, which contributed around 11 per cent of annualised rent as at Sept 30, 2024.
The building’s current lease expires on Jun 30, 2025.
Each month of downtime reduces the Reit’s distribution per unit by about US$0.0006, said the Reit manager.
Units of Digital Core Reit closed flat at US$0.58 on Tuesday.
