Director buying flat; buyback activity plunges
Sellers return after posting no sales in previous week; last week's trades feature several significant filings.
THE buying by directors was flat for the second straight week during the holiday-shortened week of Jan 31 to Feb 3 based on filings on Singapore Exchange, with nine companies that recorded 18 purchases worth S$1.51 million.
The number of firms and trades were not far off from the previous week's five-day totals of 10 companies and 23 purchases. The buy value, however, was sharply up from the previous week's acquisitions worth S$0.68 million.
