WHILE Covid-19 is expected to affect Golden Agri-Resources' (GAR) operating environment this year, climate change remains the long-term and consistent challenge for the group's production growth.
"Continuing dry weather and potential for a stronger El Nino year is potentially more of an issue from a production point of view," said Anita Neville, GAR's senior vice-president of group corporate communications, at a media briefing on Friday to discuss its full-year results.
