Earnings, data in focus amid shorter trading week

IT'S a shorter trading week in Singapore but stocks may still face volatility amid a lacklustre earnings season and growth worries coming back to the forefront.

Heading into the four-day weekend last week, the benchmark index had been dragged down by some large caps which had posted disappointing earnings results.

This week, post-Hari Raya Haji holiday on Monday, investors will see listed companies such as Best World and Chaswood Resources Holdings post quarterly results.
