Earnings season sends STI above 3,600 mark

CHEERED by traders' faith in Reits, Singapore's benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) breezed past the 3,600 mark at Wednesday's finish to forge on with its four-day winning streak.
The STI closed up 17.16 points, or 0.48 per cent, at 3,609.24, staying at levels not seen in a decade.
CapitaLand Mall Trust, which saw a 2.6 per cent rise in fourth-quarter net property income, added S$0.03, or 1.46 per cent, at S$2.08.
