Easier, contactless payment with Apple Pay for OCBC customers

MORE than half of consumers in Singapore own a credit or debit card with contactless payment capability. But of this group, less than 50 per cent have ever made a contactless payment purchase, according to Desmond Tan, head of group lifestyle financing at OCBC Bank.
This looks set to change as more than 10,000 customers activated their OCBC credit cards on Apple Pay within the first 24 hours of its launch.
