ecoWise Holdings halts trading after share surge, SGX query
CATALIST-LISTED ecoWise Holdings on Friday requested a trading halt after receiving a Singapore Exchange (SGX) query about "unusual price and volume movements".
Prior to the query, the environmental solutions provider's share price surged 41 per cent or 1.6 Singapore cents to 5.5 cents as at 10.12am. It later hit an intraday high of 5.6 cents, up 43.6 per cent or 1.7 cents at 10.22am.
EcoWise shares have since pared some of the gains by 11.37am, trading 35.9 per cent or 1.4 cents higher at 5.3 cents. The counter was the most heavily traded by volume at the time, with 54.8 million shares changing hands.
No married deals were recorded in early trade, according to ShareInvestor data.
