THE corporate investment arm of the Singapore Economic Development Board, EDBI, along with Blue Cloud Ventures and Hercules Capital, have joined in the latest round of US$51 million funding for US-headquartered cloud data protection and information management company Druva. This round is led by existing investor Sequoia India and also includes contributions from other existing investors, including NTT Finance, Nexus Venture Partners and Tenaya Capital.
According to Druva, the new funding brings the total capital raised to US$118 million and the money will continue to support the company's "aggressive growth strategy". Specifically, the capital will be used to accele-rate both product innovation and
