EFG to focus on basics, discretionary funds in rebuilding BSI
Singapore
SWISS bank EFG International will rebuild BSI Bank's tarnished business with a focus on fundamentals, leveraging EFG's strengths in fixed income and US equities as well as tapping growth in discretionary services, said EFG Asset Management chief investment officer Mozamil Afzal.
"In this kind of build phase, you've got to bring it down to grassroots. What is the proposition for clients? And our proposition for clients is an exceptionally good one, both from the investment perspective and from an associated banking as well as wealth management services and so on and so forth," the UK-based executive said on a recent trip to Singapore.
