EMS Energy auditor issues disclaimer of opinion
THE independent auditor of EMS Energy has issued a disclaimer of opinion for the company's 2017 results.
BDO has raised doubts as to whether EMS can remain a going concern, noting that the company had ceased activities since Septermber 2016 due to insufficient working capital.
A scheme of arrangement, sanctioned by the High Court, has not been completed and all bank facilities have been withdrawn from the group.
Shares of EMS Energy have been suspended from trading since September 2016.
