THE big boys in Singapore's power sector are having it tough. New entrants are wresting away their market share in the generation of electricity.
But they are holding on strong to their share in selling to consumers, even in the face of fierce competition on that end of the market as well, said a recent report by wholesale electricity market operator Energy Market Company (EMC).
