A FIRE broke out at SP PowerGrid's Labrador sub-station located at Pasir Panjang Road at about 3pm on Wednesday. The Singapore Civil Defence Force was called in.
The SP PowerGrid sub-station houses 230 kilovolt (kV) transformers, and the company is currently looking into the cause of the fire and assessing the extent of damage.
