AMID intense competition in the electricity retail market last year, Keppel Electric clawed back a sizeable chunk of the market to become the second-largest electricity retailer in Singapore.
The firm, which had ceded market share for three straight years before that, gained 3.3 percentage points to garner 13.6 per cent of the electricity retail market, according to a 2017 market report by wholesale electricity market operator Energy Market Company (EMC).
