New chemical plant on Jurong Island to use adjacent factories' carbon emissions

FRENCH chemicals group Novacap is building a sodium bicarbonate plant on Jurong Island that will capture carbon emissions from neighbouring industries for use in its manufacturing process.
It will be the first plant in Singapore to do this on a large scale.
