Petronas' Q3 profit rises 64% on higher oil prices

MALAYSIAN state energy firm Petroliam Nasional Berhad on Thursday forecast a rise in full-year profit for 2017, after posting a 64 per cent jump in third-quarter profit on improved oil prices.
Petronas, as the company is known, said that its profit after tax for the quarter ending September rose to RM10 billion (S$3.28 billion), compared with RM6.1 billion for the same period last year.
