Petronas to study Canada's long list of terms for LNG project
Analysts, meanwhile, have doubts about the viability of the natural gas export terminal in British Columbia

THE crystal ball seems cloudy at the moment for Petronas' US$27 billion LNG project in the Pacific North-west.
Canada has given the natural gas export terminal the green light, but has laid down nearly 200 conditions, and analysts say that concerns over a longer-term glut as well as domestic considerations could ultimately hold sway in the national oil company's decision on whether to proceed.
