PRIMUS Energy and Jereh have unveiled a partnership to market systems for gas to liquid (GTL) projects. The pair will jointly market and deploy systems using Primus' proprietary STG+ process technology to produce liquid products such as petroleum and methanol from natural gas. The technology can transform feed gas at a flow rate of as low as four million cubic feet per day into liquid products. The feed gas can be drawn from a broad range of sources including piped gas, dry or wet associated gas or stranded ethane.
A press statement likens the partnership to a marriage between a technology provider, Primus, and the engineering and fabrication muscle of Jereh. Jointly, it will be able to take on lump-sum, turnkey delivery of GTL systems.
