INDONESIA's state-owned utility PLN expects to issue before the weekend a request for proposals towards a liquefied natural gas supply chain contract tied to the first phase of President Joko Widodo's pledged 35 gigawatt electrification programme across the archipelagic country.
PLN's head of oil and gas division Chairani Rachmatullah said during a presentation at Gastech 2015 that a meeting will be convened Friday, with 11 participants short-listed to participate in a tender involving the supply and distribution of LNG across 32 locations in Java, Sulawesi and Kalimantan.
