Renewables seen maintaining growth

EVEN as prices for fossil fuel fell last year, this is not expected to have any long-term impact on the demand and installation of renewable energy capacity, said Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) in its latest forecast.

The limited role it sees for natural gas outside the US as well as seaborne coal also carries implications for Singapore as a trading hub for these products.
