    SINGAPORE has to take into account the potential impact on the competitiveness of the export-oriented energy and petrochemical hub, as it accelerates its net zero carbon emissions target, two of the largest refiners in the city-state warned.

    Geraldine Chin, chairman and managing director of ExxonMobil Asia-Pacific told The Business Times that the US oil major supports an explicit price on carbon to establish market incentives and provide the needed clarity and stability required for investments.
