SUMITOMO Chemical, the largest Japanese investor on Jurong Island, has started a full-scale testbed for an urban-farming project in Singapore.
From this month, it will begin cultivating farm produce on the rooftop of a research facility of the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) in Lim Chu Kang.
