Singapore
THAILAND'S national oil company PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP), in drawing up the field development plan for the proposed M3 gas project for Myanmar, is said to have floated an indicative budget of over US$80 million for two key oilfield services packages tied to the project.
The state-controlled firm is understood to have sounded the market for participation in a project tender that will be issued as early as the first half of 2017. Sources said the market survey for the two packages has gone out to Sembcorp Marine Offshore Platforms and Federal International (2000). Regional contractors said to be in the fray include China Offshore Oil Engineering Corporation and SapuraKencana Petroleum.
