EUGENE Ho will replace Philip Yuen as the chief executive officer (CEO) of Deloitte Southeast Asia from Jun 1, 2023, the professional services company said on Thursday (Mar 16).
Yuen has held the CEO position since 2016. He is also the chairman of Deloitte Singapore, a role he took on in 2019.
He started his career with Deloitte in the UK and has been with the company for more than 38 years. Yuen was previously Deloitte Singapore CEO, South-east Asia clients and markets leader, talent partner and chief of operations for the Singapore office.
Ho, meanwhile, is Deloitte Southeast Asia’s regional managing director of consulting, and its chief strategy and innovation officer.
He has over 28 years of management consulting experience, including his last 18 years as a Deloitte partner, focusing on large-scale business transformation programmes across various sectors in the Asia-Pacific region.
His appointment is part of a succession and nomination process overseen by Deloitte Southeast Asia’s board, the company said.
