CHINA Everbright Water Limited announced on Friday it has made a successful bid to lead the private side of a public-private partnership project for environmental work in the Hubei province of China.
The Suizhou High-tech Park PPP Project will command a total investment of approximately 956 million yuan (S$195 million).
Focused on integrated environmental water services, Everbright Water will lead the private partners with a 78.4 per cent stake in the project company, while the government will hold a 20 per cent stake.
The project will include components such as a 13-year landscaping project on the Fuhe Riverbanks, a 25-year plan to build an industrial waste water treatment plant and pipeline network in Xihe County, and 13-year landscaping and water environment restoration works in Piaoshui Park.
