Singapore
GERMAN specialty chemicals group Evonik has started drawing up plans for a third plant on Jurong Island that will add to its current local production of an animal feed additive.
The proposed facility will produce an amino acid called DL-methionine that is used in livestock feed, Evonik said in a press release on Friday, noting that this new plant would be next to its existing DL-methionine production complex on Jurong Island.
