Ex-Singapore Power CFO joins InterOil board

NEW YORK-listed InterOil Corporation has appointed Singapore Power's former chief financial officer Yap Chee Keong, 54, to its board.
"He joins the board immediately, replacing Samuel L Delcamp who is retiring after three years as a director," InterOil said in an announcement on Friday.
Founded in 1997, InterOil is a Papua New Guinea-focused oil & gas business. The company hopes to tap Mr Yap's experience in executive management, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and governance and finance as it develops one of the largest gas projects in Asia - the Elk-Antelope liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Papua New Guinea, a joint venture with French oil major Total SA and Sydney-listed oil and gas company Oil Se…
