WHAT may result from Singapore Airlines' (SIA) negotiations with United Airlines is yet to be decided, but it will help the Singapore-based aviation group fend off pressure from competitors as it grapples with low yields for its full-fledged airlines.
A filing with the United States Department of Transportation days ago showed that the two carriers are looking to forge a codeshare alliance.
