F&N posts Q1 earnings of S$35.2 million

FRASER and Neave (F&N) on Thursday posted a net profit of S$35.2 million (including exceptional items) for the first quarter ended Dec 31, 2014 (Q1 2015), falling 77.6 per cent from S$156.8 million a year ago.
The sharp fall in profit attributable to shareholders was that the year-ago quarter included a profit of S$119 million from discontinued operations.
